Brewery Tour: Sam Adams

by dudesbrewingbeer

Boston is home of the Red Sox, Patriots & Sam Adams. The godfather of craft brewers, Boston Beer Company has been churning out delicious beer since 1984 and it is now the largest brewer in the United States. Founder Jim Koch is all about the home brewer. From his home brew competition all the way to the bottles Sam has you covered.

Have you ever noticed that Sam Adams bottles make the PERFECT home brewer bottle? The labels slide off with ease and their long neck makes them easy to clean. So if you’re ever in Boston be sure to visit this landmark. It’s located in a very historic area. The only thing that sucks is that most of the beer is now contract brewed in Cincinnati. But you can still see them brewing special recipes. And taste the latest seasonal beer.

  • We must have been in Boston at the same time. Went up for some great beer and to watch the Rangers win at Fenway! Did you get a chacne to go by Boston Beer Works? Pretty decent Brewpub.
